❓ FAQs
Here at E2E, we divide our volunteers into four main roles according to their interests and strengths.
Project Manager
Tutors
Community Engagement Coordinators
Resource Coordinators
The Project Management Team (PMT) acts as the "Mastermind" behind the structure of E2E. They're in charge of the day-to-day operations, management, development and the future of the project.
Within the PMT itself, we segregate our members into departments, namely:
Administration
Education Development
External Partnerships and Collaborations
Human Resources
Internal Partnerships
Marketing
Operations
Project Enhancement Team
Each department has its department-specific responsibilities, but collectively, they identify the project's current stumbling blocks and tackle them to ensure the project's continual development.
Tutors are the ones most in contact with our students. Their primary responsibilities are to prepare and deliver lesson materials. It's essential for them to fully understand their lesson content before breaking it into parts and articulating the content to the students.
For subtopics that are harder for students to wrap their minds around, creative techniques such as storytelling or drawing comparison to real-life scenarios are typically used for easier understanding.
Tutors are also in charge of keeping track of a students' learning progress and behaviour.
The Community Engagement Coordinators (CECs) are essentially the bridge between the PMT, Tutors, Students and Beneficiaries. Their main task is monitoring class movements and providing pastoral care to a small group of volunteers under their leadership - the tutors!
They're tasked to consolidate updates and lesson progresses from tutors and relay them to the E2E team so that everyone stays up-to-date with the latest progress.
Dubbed "Brains of Lessons", the Resource Coordinators (RCs) are in charge of preparing the Scheme of Work (SOW), as well as overseeing the preparation of teaching materials.
Being an RC is more than just curating a level-specific SOW. It's also about designing a learning experience that focuses on a specific outcome. Education methods are ever-changing, and different students respond differently to various teaching methods. It's the RCs' job to stay on top of new lesson practices to refine lessons that are most effective for the students.
In an ideal school, they'll be known as the Heads of Departments!
