A: To register your project, either fill in this form or drop us an email indicating your interest. After receiving your request, you will receive a copy of a form on Google Docs that you'll be required to fill in within 7 days. Upon reviewing the details in the form, our team will get back to you within 10 days if the application process is successful or if we need any additional details/supporting documents.

A: We don't actively require donations, but if you wish to contribute, do support our mission by volunteering at one of the organisations that is featured on our website. Don't forget to follow our social media platforms for first-hand updates and share about VOLUME to your friends!

A: Drop us an email including the project's detailed proposal and VOLUME's role in the collaboration. We will contact you within 14 days to follow up on the proposal.

<aside> 1️⃣ Q: I am a student looking to fulfil my minimum commitment hours for my course degree, what volunteering opportunities would you recommend?

A: Regardless of why you're looking for an opportunity, we strongly recommend you to find an organisation or project that works on a topic you're interested in! We suggest you explore the different opportunities available on our website and see which one suits you best, in terms of its cause, minimum commitment and convenience. A few crowd favourites are tutoring programmes (like Educate to Elevate!) and online fundraisers.

<aside> 2️⃣ Q: What do I do after finding a volunteering opportunity on your website?

A: You can proceed with applying for the volunteering opportunity on the Volunteer Now page, under the organisation you're interested in volunteering for. If you have further enquiries about the opportunity, do contact the partner organisation/project using the contact details listed on our website.

A: Firstly, sorry you couldn't contact them. If situations like this arise, please notify us immediately via email, including your name, means of contact (phone number), the organisation concerned and we'll try to connect you with the organisation.

<aside> 5️⃣ Q: What should I take note of before volunteering?

A: Not something people regularly talk about, but we're here to provide some advice on what you should look out for! Firstly, you should definitely not be exploited for your work or forced to extend your volunteering period. If organisations ask for donations, only donate if you want to, not because you're pressured to.

<aside> 6️⃣ Q: Why should I volunteer?

A: Volunteering is one of the unique ways that allow us more in touch with our community. To volunteer is to serve others, something a lot of us don't consciously do, being caught up in our back-to-back schedules.

Besides, when volunteering, you're bound to pick up new skills, like how our team did! Before joining VOLUME, most of our team had little to no knowledge about designing, and 9 months later, all five of us are now taking turns to design the Amplifier Series, which you can see across our Instagram and Facebook pages.

A: We currently do not fundraise or assist other organisations in collecting donations. However, we can amplify your needs to our audience and existing volunteering community by posting or reposting any marketing materials of your organisation.

<aside> 3️⃣ Q: Are there criteria to feature my organisation on the website?

A: Yes! Your organisation must have open volunteering opportunities (whether physical or online) and updated, active contact details (phone number, email address etc) so that potential volunteers can reach out to you for further information regarding signing up as a volunteer.

<aside> 4️⃣ Q: Can I donate instead of volunteering for the organisations featured?

A: Sure thing! Donation methods usually differ by organisation, so it's best to check with the organisation that you're interested in to confirm their details.
